CARE AND HANDLING OF ORCHIDS

Orchids require little maintenance and are very easy to care for. These plants prefer filtered light, humid and warm conditions. Normal room temperature is ideal for these plants; however, because of their hardiness, plants are able to withstand short exposures to temperatures as low as 45° F and as high as 95° F. These potted orchids should be watered two times per week and not allowed to stand in water. With tender loving care, these plants can last for years, blooming again and again. Care and handling instructions and suggestions for creating spectacular arrangements are included with the shipment.

CARE AND HANDLING OF ANTHURIUMS

For color, longevity and intrigue all year round, anthuriums are one of Hawaii's best floral values. To extend their already long vase life, hold the stems under water and trim 1/2" from the end upon receipt. If the flower shows signs of transit stress, submerge it in entirety in room temperature water for 10 to 15 minutes to maximize rehydration. Use the standard amount of preservative in the vase water. Store flowers at an air temperature above 55° F and away from direct light, heat or drafts. Do not refrigerate. Mist flowers daily. Care and handling instructions and suggestions for creating spectacular arrangements are included with the shipment.
